Toni-Lee Viney

Toni-Lee Viney is thrilled to serve as a member of the Semester at Sea team on the fall 2020 voyage. She has dedicated her career to supporting student success at Colorado State University by connecting with students who have pursued many unique paths in the College of Liberal Arts, College of Business, and Department of Mechanical Engineering. Toni-Lee currently manages the undergraduate program for the Department of Mechanical Engineering where she works closely with students to support their goals through academic advising, administration, and community-building efforts. She is passionate about providing students with access to international experiences as part of their educational path and has collaborated with many amazing colleagues to make education abroad a reality for more students. Her role on the Semester at Sea fall 2020 voyage unites her passions for supporting student success and bolstering international opportunities. Beyond advising, Toni-Lee engages in the University community through recent leadership as the Chair of the Administrative Professional Council as well as through a variety of University committees and taskforces that aim to enhance students’ educational experience as well as the workplace community.

Toni-Lee earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Ripon College and a Master’s Degree in Communication Studies from Colorado State University. In addition to her role at CSU, Toni-Lee teaches yoga in the Fort Collins community. She loves the creativity and connections that teaching yoga brings into her life. She values time spent on adventures with her partner, Dan, and children, Josie (6) and Cecily (3), whether that means finding a new restaurant, exploring the outdoors, or traveling together. She is excited to connect with students and colleagues on the ultimate, once-in-a-lifetime adventure: Semester at Sea.
