William McGrath

William McGrath is a doctoral student in the History of Religions program at the University of Virginia. His primary research interests are the early historical developments and intersections of Tibetan and Chinese Buddhist and medical traditions. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia (B.Sc. Biochemistry, 2007), and has been working for the Tibetan and Himalayan Library ever since (THL; http://www.thlib.org). He spent two years in Western China/Eastern Tibet working on projects for THL (2008-2010) and spent the last year studying Chinese at the Inter-University Program at Tsinghua University in Beijing (2012-2013).
