Hike At Grazalema Natural Park

Program Overview
Country: Spain

Take the White Town Route (about three hours) to Grazalema, one of the most famous natural parks of Andalucía.  Hiking through the park is an exhilarating experience as well as an educational one as it is one of the world’s most important ecological reserves.  You will learn about Pinsapo, a species of pine tree that is a survivor of past glacial ages and is referred to as a “living fossil.”  The park is also home to ibex, vultures and numerous birds of prey.  Hike through the forest by an ascendant path to reach Puerto de las Cumbres where magnificent views of the Andalucían Sierras can be admired.  (Box lunches from the ship will be provided.)
