Semester at Sea is saddened to share the passing of a longtime friend and employee of the program, Ozelle Krukowski. Ozelle was a vibrant member of the Semester at Sea home office team from 1977-1998 while Semester at Sea was headquartered in Pittsburgh.
Ozelle had many roles during her tenure with the program, including receptionist, finance assistant, and Executive Assistant to the President and Board of Trustees. She is remembered as always being very organized, dressed impeccably, and caring deeply for the Semester at Sea program and students. You may read Ozelle’s obituary here.
