Talk to a Global Ambassador at Your Study Abroad Fair

Study abroad fairs allow students to see a variety of the different types of programs offered by many different organizations. Being able to see the many different options at once can help a student determine what goals they may have for their experience and what program will best fit in their college plans, plus these events can be full of energy and help inspire exciting new ideas for future possibilities!

Beyond the cool pens and brochures, you can connect with members of the Semester at Sea community who offer a wealth of information and whose enthusiasm cannot be captured in any other way than meeting in person.

Global Ambassadors are recent participants and your best bet for inside knowledge concerning your university and how Semester at Sea can fit with your educational goals. They can be seen with Semester at Sea outreach staff at more and more study abroad fairs as the team grows. Look for the telling blue polo shirt, and for some of you this person may be readily recognizable as a friend or class mate! This is the perfect opportunity to ask all of your questions, blending the Global Ambassadors recent on-ship experiences and longstanding knowledge of our outreach staff.
