The Cochin Blue Bus program which gives an insight to the local life of Cochin by traveling the way the locals do.  Quick! Find your seats. Notice that the bus has front row seats reserved for ladies and one seat for the aged and one for the blind. Enjoy the ever ringing bells, and the man calling out names of the destination that the bus is heading to. Travel 30 to 40 minutes towards Ernakulam Market, where the locals go for general shopping. Walk around the market street which is the heart of the commercial capital of the State. Take a rickshaw to the famous Vallarpadam church. Learn the history, myths, and rituals of the church and climb the stairs to get a bird’s eye view of Cochin. Then, travel to an Indian Coffee House for the traditional and famous masala dosa and coffee or tea.

Later, walk through the marine drive towards the ferry boat jetty. Stand in a queue with the locals to collect tickets to Fort Cochin. Enjoy the cruise and notice the fishing boast going in and out of the harbor. Try to spot some dolphins! While traveling through the Cochin harbor view Bolgatty palace, Valarpadam Island, and Vypeen Island. After the cruise, travel back to the ship reflecting on the daily life in Cochin.
