Am I Qualified?

How do I know when my application is complete?
A completed application includes an unofficial transcript, an optional 300-500 word essay and a non-refundable application fee of $75.

Is the application fee refundable?
No, the $75 admission application fee is not refundable.
Already Admitted? Log-In to Make Your Deposit!
If you were accepted after September 8, 2020, log-in to your application portal to view your acceptance letter and pay your deposit.
If you were accepted on or before September 8, 2020, deposit via the legacy deposit portal, and you will need to note your Deposit Code.
- Deposit Code: “pw” followed by your birthday as mmddyy (Ex: If your birthday is January 1, 1990 your deposit code is “pw010190”)
Is there a deadline to apply?
Semester at Sea operates on a rolling admissions basis, meaning there are no application deadlines for specific semesters. However, it is recommended that you begin the application process 12 months before the semester in which you would like to participate. Students will be asked to provide an updated academic record at the conclusion of the semester prior to their participation. Applications will continue to be accepted until approximately one month before the start of the voyage.
What if I want to sail as a Lifelong Learner, Faculty, or Staff?
Lifelong Learners, Faculty and Staff should not use this application to apply. Please reference one of the links below.
