With the world as its classroom and more than 50 years of experience, Semester at Sea integrates multiple-country study, interdisciplinary coursework, and hands-on field experience for meaningful engagement in the global community.

Benefits for CSU Students

CSU students are eligible for special funding opportunities from Semester at Sea:

  • $1,000 ‘Rams at Sea’ Scholarship will be awarded to all CSU students who apply and deposit
  • Semester at Sea application fee is waived for CSU students 
  • $500 deposit for CSU students (normally $1,000)

Engineering at Sea: See the world, set yourself apart and stay on track to graduation

Semester at Sea and Colorado State University’s Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering offer engineering courses on board the MV World Odyssey on fall voyages. Engineering students attending accredited colleges and universities can participate in this unique program while earning CSU credits and staying on track for graduation.
