Semester at Sea Program Deposit

Cabin space is not guaranteed solely upon admission. Cabin types and voyages fill up quickly and space is reserved by order of deposit. If your cabin preference is full when you deposit, you will be placed on a cabin wait list.  The $1,000 deposit will be your first payment toward the total cost of the program and will reserve your spot on the voyage. Your cabin assignment will directly impact your program fees. Check out our cabin tours and view our program fees prior to making your deposit.

Spring 2022 Voyage Waitlist

The Spring 2022 voyage is full; however, you can still secure your spot on our waitlist. Placing a deposit now will secure a spot on our Spring 2022 voyage waitlist.  All students will be notified of their waitlist status no later than December 3. Should the student not move off the waitlist or otherwise decide they wish to cancel at any point prior to being confirmed in a cabin, the $1,000 deposit will be refunded in full. If you are moved off of the waitlist and confirmed in a cabin, your deposit will be non-refundable.

For waitlisted students, we cannot guarantee a specific cabin category or roommate choice. The waitlist will be based on the date of deposit and students will come off that waitlist and be confirmed to the voyage in that order. If your study abroad plans are flexible, we strongly encourage you to consider the Fall 2022 voyage in lieu of the Spring 2022 waitlist.

The deposit portal you use is determined by the date you received your official admission/acceptance to Semester at Sea. If you do not remember your program accepted date, please email admission@semesteratsea.org.

If you were accepted after September 8, 2020, log-in to your application portal to view your acceptance letter and pay your deposit.
