Semester at Sea has announced a minor adjustment to the Fall 2026 Voyage itinerary. The ship will now call on Tangier, Morocco instead of Casablanca, Morocco.
This update is due to logistical considerations and will not impact the voyage’s overall schedule or duration. Voyagers will still explore Morocco from September 22–27, 2026, as planned.
Why Tangier?
Located where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic, Tangier is a vibrant port city with a rich cultural history shaped by Berber, Arab, and European influences. From its historic medina to sweeping coastal views, Tangier offers an exciting opportunity for voyagers to experience Morocco’s diversity and global connections.
What This Means for Voyagers
- No change to voyage length or academic calendar
- No change to Moroccan port dates (September 22–27, 2026)
- Field program offerings will be updated to reflect the new port city
Voyagers can review the updated itinerary online and contact the ISE | Semester at Sea office with any questions.
Looking Ahead
We look forward to welcoming our voyagers aboard for another unforgettable semester of global learning and discovery. From Tangier’s winding streets to the open ocean ahead, the Fall 2026 Voyage will continue to deliver the transformational experiences that define Semester at Sea.
