Semester at Sea announces Spring 2027 Voyage Itinerary which will take students to 11 countries across Asia, Africa, and Europe

Semester at Sea is excited to announce the Spring 2027 Voyage itinerary, marking our 139th voyage in our legacy of global education. This upcoming voyage will take students, staculty, and Lifelong Learners across Asia, Africa, and Europe for a once-in-a-lifetime global learning experience.

The Spring 2027 Voyage will embark from Bangkok, Thailand, on January 5, 2027, and sail to Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, India, Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, Morocco, and Scotland. Voyagers will disembark on April 20, 2027, in Bremerhaven, Germany.

Aboard the MV World Odyssey, voyagers will take classes with world-class faculty and staff who bring academic concepts to life through firsthand exploration. In each port, students apply classroom learning to real contexts, gaining a deeper understanding of global issues.

From the vibrant streets of Southeast Asia to the colorful markets of West Africa and the historic cities of Europe, voyagers will engage with new perspectives and global issues that shape our world today. Guided Field Programs and independent travel opportunities make it easy to tailor the experience to your interests, whether that means studying sustainability, exploring global business, or diving into cultural storytelling.

The Spring 2027 Voyage is an opportunity to live and learn alongside a diverse community, gaining a global perspective that stays with you long after the ship returns home.

Applications for students and Lifelong Learners open on November 1, 2025.
