Semester at Sea home office relocation aimed at better accommodating hybrid work and training needs

Semester at Sea’s home office in Fort Collins, Colorado, is moving east – about three miles east, to be exact. Beginning March 1, 2026, the Institute for Shipboard Education | Semester at Sea offices will be located a short drive from Colorado State University, the program’s academic partner.

The new, better-fit space provides ISE with in-house training facilities for two annual all-staff gatherings in Fort Collins, Board of Trustees meetings, as well as two to four additional weeks of summer training sessions for fall and spring voyage staculty. The new space will also be outfitted with several new meeting and office spaces that better suit our hybrid/remote team.  During the pandemic, we transitioned to and maintained a hybrid-first model.

The move was also necessitated by persistent HVAC issues in our current space over the past several years that made it impossible for our local staff to work in the office.

The new space, located near the corner of Timberline and Horsetooth Roads in Fort Collins, is also conveniently located near accommodations typically used by our visiting staff and board members, while remaining easily accessible to our partners at CSU.

“This move is about creating a dedicated and comfortable home base that supports our evolving team dynamics, enhances collaboration, and provides a welcoming environment for everyone, whether they’re local or visiting from out of state,” said  Scott Marshall, ISE President and CEO.

New Office Address as of March 1, 2025

Our team is counting down the days until our March 2026 All-Staff Gathering, where we’ll officially inaugurate our new space. We look forward to this new chapter of growth as we continue our vital work supporting Semester at Sea voyagers from a more comfortable, collaborative home base.

Please note, that while our physical address is moving, there will be no change to the mailing address specific to Donation and Payments:
