State of the Institute — Fall 2023

We are pleased to share with you our most recent State of the Institute. ISE President and CEO Scott Marshall shares a message from the FA23 Voyage embarkation with updates on Voyage 132, an overview of the past 60 years of shipboard education, how we’re activating our mission in our future plans, our future communication plans for our alumni community and the launch of our new 60th Anniversary Endowed Access Fund.

Celebrating 60 years of Semester at Sea

We would also like to extend an invitation for you to join us for a special evening at Colorado State University to celebrate ISE’s 60th Anniversary and 2023 Founders’ Day! Join us on October 19, 2023 as we welcome esteemed journalist, author, professor, and Semester at Sea alumna Rachel Louise Snyder as our guest speaker.

Rachel will share her insights on how global exploration inspires SAS students to pursue innovative solutions to global challenges. Joining her will be ISE President Scott Marshall, CSU President Amy Parsons, and ISE Vice Chair Lynn Johnson. Please view our event page to learn more and RSVP.
