Semester at Sea has been closely monitoring the current political situation in Myanmar (Burma). We are in touch with the U.S. State Department and our security partner (IJet) for real-time health and safety-related updates. To-date, no travel warnings have been issued, but in-country awareness for all participants is encouraged. As a result, our call on Yangon, Myanmar (Burma) will continue as scheduled. As always, the safety and health of our Semester at Sea participants will remain our first priority. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as necessary.
