Overview of Course

For the marketer in each of us, we will tackle the “why study marketing” first? You can’t get away from promotion and the brands that we love, products we buy and consumer decisions we make. In this course, we will discover the psychology that is at the root of marketing, and the motivations that influence our buying habits. We will master the 4 Ps (Product, Price, Place, and Promotion) and the frameworks that help modern marketers thrive. You will learn to build Target Personas, Segment Audiences and Position Products and Services. You will apply what you learn through case studies and hands on fieldwork. As an example, you may analyze how a candy brand like KitKat is positioned in several ways in the same country, but to different audiences. By the end of the course, you will have understood both the principles and the application for a real world client.
