Fall 2017 Voyagers serve village in India

Most Fall 2017 Voyagers made it to the Taj Mahal while traveling in India, thanks to different field programs options that all, at one point during the six-day stay in India, made it India’s own wonder of the world.

But in addition to seeing the Taj Mahal, ten Fall 2017 Voyagers participated in the Urban Village Community Service and Exchange in India in order to experience life in Bandhwari village, near Delhi. Students spent two days helping teach local schoolchildren and learning from local woman in the mornings, while touring New Delhi and nearby temples and forts in the evening.

See the video above for a complete overview of the field program, and how voyagers made an impact, and were impacted, by their time in India.

Please Note: The above video is dedicated to Fall 2017 Voyager Kassandra Braun, who participated in the field program.
