From Portugal to Nigeria: Giving Back Hope

Meet Adam Odomore from Texas State University. Adam is an IMPACT Scholar studying on the Fall 2014 voyage in search of something more than just a voyage around the Atlantic Ocean. While in Lisbon, Portugal, Adam and several other Semester at Sea students took the initiative to visit an orphanage for boys to help complete numerous service projects around the facility.

Adam is full of passion to give back to communities abroad, as well as the community back in his hometown in Nigeria. Not only is Adam interested in service projects on Semester at Sea, but he wants to take these ideas back to Nigeria to improve the welfare of the people that live there. Watch the video below and find out what Adam plans to do with the knowledge he gains during his trip to the orphanage.
