Studying abroad with Semester at Sea is more than just an amazing travel and learning experience — it is one of the best investments students can make in their future. And, with an average of 60% of voyagers receiving some form of aid and scholarships each voyage, we aim to make sailing with us as attainable as possible.

Semester at Sea Monthly Payment Plan

Semester at Sea offers an interest-free payment plan to help students pay toward their program fees.

The SAS Payment Plan allows students to make more affordable interest-free monthly payments in an effort to help students more easily finance their voyage. It allows payments to be made beyond the voyage payment due date (typically ~90 days prior to embarkation).

Outside Funding Resources

There are a myriad of outside funding options available to Semester at Sea students. With a little research and some diligence, you may find your voyage to be extremely affordable.

Veterans Benefits

Semester at Sea is listed by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs as a faculty-led program at Colorado State University. This designation allows students to utilize their GI Bill or veteran’s benefits toward Semester at Sea so long as they meet eligibility criteria.
