The Institute of Shipboard Education (ISE, the Semester at Sea parent organization) fosters an academic partnership with UA to ensure curriculum alignment, ease of credit transfer, and transfer of financial aid. All UA Tuscaloosa study abroad journeys begin at the Office of Education Abroad, which helps students discover Semester at Sea voyages and navigate the application process.
ISE has a larger partner institution list, and we are currently building out more pages. If you don’t see your home university featured as a partner school, we can likely still work with you and your school to streamline credit transfer.
