Itinerary
Day 1
Thursday, 23 February 2017
Meet the guide and transfer to the airport, which is an hour and half drive. Upon arrival to Bagan, experience a full day tour with an experienced guide through Bagan. Begin by climbing a pagoda to get a first impressive view over the whole area. From here the tour will visit the historical temples of Bagan inlcuding: Ananda, Dhammayangyi, Sulamani, and Thatbyinnyu. After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, continue the tour by horse cart to Pyathagyi pagoda for a beautiful sunset.
Day 2
Wednesday, 22 February 2017
Begin this day of village life experiences with a scenic drive. The first village visit is to Nyaung Gyi where you can observe a black smith work shop. From there, travel to Se Ywa village and visit several local workshops, including: plum purifying, cooking oil producing, and wooden slipper maker. After that, visit Taung Kong village where majority of the people are farmers and pottery makers. A great trip for photographers and anyone interested in daily life of local people. From here, transfer back to the hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Day 3
Friday, 24 February 2017
Following breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport and fly to Yangon. Travel back to the ship, reminiscing on the beautiful and insightful trip to Bagan.
