Fall 2013: Expectations and Anticipations

The students of Semester at Sea’s Fall 2013 voyage arrived with laptops, cameras, water bottles, passports and a huge thirst for adventure and discovery. They may miss the family and friends they’ve left behind but many say they are looking forward to discovering countries below the equators and the people and communities beyond any descriptions from textbooks and lectures. Several of the new voyagers shared their expectations and anticipation of what’s to come on SAS’s 50th anniversary voyage, exploring the Atlantic aboard the MV Explorer.
