Semester at Sea’s Fall 2024 Voyage (the 134th) is officially underway! The shipboard community embarked on the MV World Odyssey on Sept. 9 in IJmuiden, The Netherlands, and they are now en route to their first port: Lisbon, Portugal.

Fall 2024 Voyage By the Numbers Highlights:
- 433 student voyagers (376 undergraduate, 49 gap year, and 8 recent graduates) with an average GPA of 3.41)
- Students represent 47 states and 28 countries outside of the U.S.
- 185 universities are represented with several sending 10+ students: Colorado State University, Fort Collins (24), University of San Diego (18), University of Colorado: Boulder (14), Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (14) and Arizona State University (11)
- 61 full-time faculty and staff on the voyage
- $4.9 million awarded in financial aid scholarships awarded
