Semester at Sea’s Fall 2026 Voyage has officially set sail from IJmuiden, the Netherlands, marking the 138th SAS voyage. The MV World Odyssey’s first port of call is Leixões, Portugal, where students, Lifelong Learners, faculty, staff, and their families will explore for four days before sailing on to visit ten more countries during their 100+ day voyage.

Fall 2026 Voyage Highlights:
- Student Community: 419 student voyagers are on board with an average GPA of 3.67
- U.S. Representation: Students represent 46 U.S. states
- Global Representation: 24 unique countries outside of the U.S. are represented, including:
- 13: Canada
- 5: China
- 4 each: Germany, Mexico
- 3 each: Colombia, Costa Rica, Hong Kong
- 2 each: The Netherlands, The Philippines
- Colleges & Universities: 174 colleges and universities are represented, with several top-sending institutions:
- Top Five Represented Majors: Psychology, Business Administration, Engineering, Communication Arts, and Marketing
- Financial Aid: $3.3 million awarded in ISE financial aid to 360 students
- Faculty & Staff: 28 faculty and 31 academic and non-academic staff members are on board
- Lifelong Learners: 11 Full Voyage Lifelong Learners and 18 Spotlight Voyagers
