Enrichment Voyages is currently sailing its final voyage, Iron & Ice, May 18 – June 15, 2014. This historic and exciting voyage is traveling through Northern Europe and Scandinavia to destinations including St. Petersburg, Russia, Stockholm, Sweden, Tallinn, Estonia, three ports in Iceland, and a trek through Belfast, Ireland. On board the ship, voyagers are learning from expert lecturers including Betsy Chunko, Assistant Professor of architectural history at the United States Military Academy; Charles Clarkson, PhD, expert ornithologist; oceanographer Ed Sobey, and many more.
The first segment, “Iron”, concluded on May 31 in Stockholm, Sweden. Voyagers embarked from Hamburg, Germany and began the voyage by sailing through the Kiel Canal to Rostock Germany. The MV Explorer then sailed on to Gdansk, Poland; Klaipeda, Lithuania; Tallinn, Estonia; Saint Petersburg, Russia; and Helsinki, Finland before ending the thirteen-day segment in Stockholm.
