Alumni and friends of Semester at Sea, we are pleased to share with you our Annual Report for fiscal year 2022. It was a period of many accomplishments, thanks to the hard work and support of our dedicated staff, Board of Trustees, alumni, and friends. Our greatest success this past year was returning to the oceans for the Spring 2022 Voyage, where nearly 400 students and Lifelong Learners experienced an educational adventure unlike any other.
Semester at Sea remains in a sound financial position despite some ongoing challenges caused by COVID-19. In this report you’ll read how organizational leadership continues to carefully manage resources to ensure we remain prepared to overcome any short-term obstacles and fulfill our long-term strategic objectives.
Strong philanthropic support from generous alumni and friends like you allowed Semester at Sea to continue attracting the best and brightest students from around the world and ensured we accomplished our mission of providing journeys of discovery that spark bold solutions to global challenges.
