SAS Spring 2016 Voyage Student Digest Jan. 23-30

After 12 days at sea, the MV World Odyssey was welcomed to Japan with a traditional drumming ceremony in the Port of Yokohama. The past few days have been an enriching experience for our shipboard community to explore and learn about traditional practices while immersed in the Japanese culture. Through field labs, programs and independent travel, Semester at Sea voyagers truly had the opportunity to embrace the authentic experience while in port. Take a look at what students were up to in their first international port!
