The Fall 2015 Voyage is officially at the midpoint, which means students and faculty are in the midst of midterms. The entire shipboard community took a day, however, to honor the passing of the Equator in the Atlantic with Neptune Day.

After 12 days at sea, the MV World Odyssey was welcomed to Japan with a traditional drumming ceremony in the Port of Yokohama. The past few days have been an enriching experience for our shipboard community to explore and learn about traditional practices while immersed in the Japanese culture.

The shipboard community is back from a five day journey through China! Docking in Shanghai and Hong Kong gave many the opportunity for field programs, day trips, and independent travel in the expansive country. Many people caught the travel bug, booking field programs all the way to Beijing and Guilin.
