Admission & Aid

ISE AWARDS $5 MILLION IN FINANCIAL AID ANNUALLY.

Students do not necessarily need to qualify for standard forms of financial aid (such as Pell Grants) on their home campuses to be eligible for scholarships. Applicants are strongly encouraged to file the FAFSA and submit the Student Aid Report to ISE along with tax returns from the most recent tax year and any supplemental information that might be helpful in our review.

International students are welcome to apply for any ISE scholarships. We ask that you submit a statement of your parent’s income, with an English translation and conversion to US dollars, in lieu of the FAFSA and tax forms.

Please note: Semester at Sea scholarship review committees will review applications based on the criteria and terms established for each individual award. Scholarships will be awarded only if a fully qualified applicant is identified by the committee. Semester at Sea is not obligated to award any scholarship if a qualified candidate is not identified by the scholarship review committee.
